After the darkness the light feels blinding

Kenai woke up with yet another headache. He sat up, looking around himself. The lights were back on. He got up and walked towards the wall, sitting down next to it. He looked at the sleeping form of his new roommate. She looked asian. He wondered if it was Mulan who he had talked to through the wall.

Waking up with a groan, she rubbed her head, the slight headache fading shortly after her regaining consciousness. Blinking in the bright light, she looked around, somewhat relieved the lights were back on. Though, instead of a woman, it was a man sitting there on the other side of the room. The carpet was nice, but that only meant there had been another room change. She didn't mind this one so much, though. This room seemed nicer than the other two she'd been in.

"Hello," she said, greeting her roommate. "I'm Mulan. You are?" Introductions again. She wondered how many people there were to meet in this place.

He smiled when he heard her introduce herself. So this was Mulan, he could see the family resmblance. "Hello Mulan, nice to meet you face to face. I'm Kenai."

A relieved smile spread across her face. "Same here," she said, relaxing some against the wall.

He smiled kindly. "It's nice to see the lights are back on. I have never been scared of the dark, but that made me so stressed."

"You too," she says with a small chuckle.

He sighed. "So how are you after we last talked? You never answered if you were exited about Shangs and Snows marriage."
