Demented Figments of [Imagination]

The echo of Miriam's own voice haunted her mind as she came to, her droopy eyes forcing themselves open. It was quite dark in the room that she was in, and her eyes didn't adjust to it well. Her whole body felt weighed down and groggy, and she could barely lift herself up. 'What is this place,' she thought, 'another one of my deranged figmentations? Mother will wake me up soon, I know it..'

Seeing the outline of another figure in the room, she tilted her head, "..Um, hello?" she asked quietly, staring at it until she decided to hum, pressing her warm cheek against the cold floor.
