Lost and Delerious Empty
PostSubject: Lost and Delerious   Lost and Delerious EmptyMon Jul 02, 2012 2:10 pm

Giselle's eyes fluttered open, the last thing she remembered was a shape appearing in front of her and shading her in darkness. Sighing, she turned over, expecting to be in her room as she felt the soft carpet against her hand. Yet, as she opened her eyes, she gasped.

Two eyes glared into her own, one broken and the other staring, she recoiled before tilting her head to one side and examining the strange doll. It interested her, it was broken and looked sad, she smiled and picked it up, taking it into her arms, she walked over to the leather sofa before looking around at where she was. She wasn't home or in the underground, she knew that much. Nonetheless, she was used to being locked up and took it in her stride. At least she was safe from her father for now. Glancing around, she gasped as she noticed a girl of a similar frame curled in the corner.

Giselle, keeping tight hold of the doll, edged closer to her and lifted a strand of her brunette hair away from her face. "So, what crime did you commit?" She tilted her head curiously.

Lost and Delerious Empty
PostSubject: Re: Lost and Delerious   Lost and Delerious EmptyMon Jul 02, 2012 11:19 pm

Sara groaned quietly in her sleep, if it could be called that. The soft, plush under her face made it not so difficult to attempt to remain asleep, although her brain quickly reminded her that this was a different texture than when she was originally asleep. Last she remembered, she was sprawled out in a patch of grass, the irritating blades ticking her with every breeze, but now this felt soft, like a sheep. Her heart raced for a moment, trying to calm herself down and silently reasoned herself that there was nothing to worry about and no reason to panic. However her thoughts were quickly interrupted when she felt fingers brushing through her bangs, causing her emerald eyes to flutter open.

The first thing she spotted was the strange doll in the girl's hand that caused her to jump but remain on the floor, her body tensed until she realized that it was just an unfortunate doll. She let out a deep sigh of relief before her eyes moved to the girl who was now beside her, staring at her silently. Sara had never seen a person with such fair skin, such light and lovely hair, it puzzled her, was she dead, and this was a sort of heaven? The question echoed in her mind, that wouldn't be a question that an angel would ask and she surely wasn't a devil, Sara sat up, holding her hand over her eyes as her head began to pound.

"Crime?"

She asked, her voice thick with her native accent.

"I 'ave not committed ah crime."

Sara replied as she dropped her hand down from her face. Well, if murdering her father in order to protect others was considered a crime then she was guilty in every sense of the term, but she didn't see it that way.

Giselle was rather startled when the girls' eyes opened unexpectedly, flinching back slightly with the doll as an instantaneous reaction. However, she soon recovered and an intrigued smile replaced the uncertainty on her face. The other woman's eyes were a beautiful shade of green and reminded her somewhat of marbles. Round, emerald marbles that twisted and turned as she glanced around the room. Giselle laughed lightly at her confused expression and decided to provide some sort of an explanation for her strange introductory question.

"Everyone has committed a crime," Gisellle stated simply as she brushed back the curls on the dolls head so it fell straighter and less knotted than before.

"It is just finding it," She reflected every ounce of her fathers' logic and repeated the same words he had infiltrated her own mind with.

"And it is only the reasoning behind it that differentiates you from others." Giselle walked back over to the leather sofa and gently placed the doll so it sat upright quite comfortably on the arm before returning to the carpet. She crouched down on the white mass and sat cross-legged opposite the darker haired woman.

"You aren't from England originally are you?" Giselle wondered aloud as she noticed the native twang in her clear, broad accent.

"I'm Giselle," She extended her hand awkwardly, she wasn't used to such informal and unscheduled meetings, rather the opposite of disorientated capturings and killings. It could be deemed unusual to view the latter as formal in comparison, yet to Giselle, the scheduled timing and preciseness of the encounter rendered it so.

Lost and Delerious Empty
PostSubject: Re: Lost and Delerious   Lost and Delerious EmptyTue Jul 03, 2012 9:13 pm

Sara took the time to look around the room now, how bland and empty it was beside the white rug she had awoken on and the leather sofa off to the side. She rubbed at her eyes, could this be a dream? Once opening them a second time it was clear it wasn’t, and yet, she didn’t seem to panic as much as she had originally thought, it wasn’t like she knew what the outside world was like after all. She studied the girl who shared the room with her with more steady, studying and focused eyes, frowning as she accused her of doing a crime, Sara was innocent! She listened to her words, and in their own twisted way, they seemed to make sense, perhaps, perhaps she was guilty of a crime after all.

“I . . .”

She started as she watched the girl place the doll onto the couch before sitting beside her once again. Sara tucked her legs underneath her as she sat up fully, using her hand to keep her balanced. It was strange to think that at first, she had seen herself almost as a hero to her tribe for killing her father, but now to think that she was a murderer instead had her stomach knot up. Her emerald eyes stared at the girl blankly, her own accent was light and airy in comparison and Sara found that she had to pause a moment before she could understand what she said and was able to answer.

“England?”

She repeated, shaking her head, her tribe being so closed off from the world that the name didn’t even ring a bell. Her eyebrows furrowed in thought, although the thought itself wasn’t of any real significance. Her eyes then darted to her hand, having never had seen such a greeting ritual before.

“I’m Sara.”

The brunette said softly, taking the girl’s hand and wasn’t quite sure what to do with it afterwards so she merely held it before dropping it as she looked around the room.

“Is this . . . England?”

She asked as she lowered her eyes to Giselle once again.

{I am so sorry this has taken so long, it seems like everyone wanted something from me today! xDD and I just now got time to sit down and reply to you!}

(Ooc; @Sara - It is totally fine deary! I do love these two already though xD @Wendy I can't wait to roleplay with you too! <3)

Giselle watched in quiet silence as the girl passed her gaze around the room, she seemed oddly confused. As for herself, she was rather used to being kept locked up and this was nothing particularly revolutionary, she had not even bothered as of yet to check the door. As she told Sara of her crime theory, she analysed the way she reacted carefully before deeming her as at least partially innocent of her crimes, regret and panic alligned her face and she relaxed somewhat. At least she wouldn't have to murder this woman, surely that must be a good start.

"I'm sorry, I'm not really used to strangers," Giselle frowned, wondering if she had actually done the polite thing through offering her hand after all, since they both seemed to fumble with each others' fingers before looking rather awkward. "But I am glad to have met you I think," She nodded curiously, and rested her finger against her lip uncertainly before reaching that ultimatum.

"Yes, England," Giselle nodded and smiled, pleased the conversation had turned away from a less morbid topic and onto a lighter one. "It isn't half beautiful you know, on the moors and in the dales." She sighed as memories fluttered through her mind of the times when her father would allow her to roam the lands free, or when she was sent to spy on a traveller. The rolling hills were her escape zone and she revelled in her time spent there. This place though, whether unfamiliar or not, seemed like home almost, or what she expected home to be. The plush carpets and leather sofa to curl up on and converse over with others. She smiled to herself, perhaps now she could be herself and not the puppet doll her father expected. With that thought, her eyes wondered over to the one piece of furniture in the room, where the broken doll sat peacefully. It was almost a replica of herself, a broken doll, finally at peace.

"I am not quite sure where we are now though," Giselle spoke doubtfully, the room bared no sign of anything particularly foreign-looking but then she had to also take into consideration, the decor wasn't all that fulfilling of her expectations of a hotel suite either.

PostSubject: Re: Lost and Delerious   Lost and Delerious EmptyWed Jul 04, 2012 8:20 pm

{Likewise Wendy! 8D}

Sara stared at Giselle with curious eyes, they soon closed as she let out a quiet laugh when she mentioned not being use to strangers. The brunette knew that feeling all too well, she looked down at her hand that had fumbled in the greeting and it only caused her to laugh more at the awkwardness the two had shared together. It seemed odd to laugh here, but perhaps the possible danger and threatening aspect of this place hadn’t fully sunk in yet. All she knew was she was in this room with this girl named Giselle, and really, that was it. Her full lips thinned out to a sincere smile.

“I am glad I ‘ave met you too Giselle.”

Sara tilted her head slightly, adjusting where she sat to keep her legs from falling asleep as she watched the girl’s face almost seem to light up as she spoke of this England place, and although Sara had no idea what she was talking about she kept a smile on her features as she spoke of it.

“It sounds beautiful.”

She said quietly, as she would never say anything negative towards another one’s homeland. So this wasn’t England, or they thought, this made her curious, then where were they? With Giselle’s overall calm exterior she didn’t feel threatened even still, when they thought about where in the world they could be. She rose slowly, carefully, finding that her body creaked and ached from its lack of use as she stood up, stretching out and walking over to the door. Her hand extended to the handle and gave it a jiggle, finding it heavily locked that it barely even moved. The simple motion made her heart start to race as he turned around, running her fingers through her thick brown hair in a hope to slow her pulse again.

“We’re . . . locked in?”

She asked, finding it odd that the two would be locked inside of a room and her almost primitive reaction came out that caused her to throw her body weight into the door in an attempt to knock it down and only receiving a sore shoulder and side as she faltered back. She held her arm and frowned at the door as she backed away back to Giselle, chewing on her bottom lip.

When Sara began to laugh, Giselle simply responded with a startled and befuddled expression until she realised the awkwardness of their handshake was the object of her laughter and she chortled along with her. She was glad to be roomed with an individual who seemed to share her humour, though most would deem it as little comfort, Giselle saw it as a bonus to this exciting new place. Her pleasant greeting was so refreshing from the abusive language she was used to, that she instantly relaxed and settled down into the carpet.

"Oh, you can call me Ellie if you like," Giselle nodded, deciding the abbreviation only generally used by close friends and those she saw as family could be extended to Sara. She seemed more pleasant than most people she had encountered in her life previously and so the friendly gesture should surely bode well.

“It is,” Giselle nodded slowly, her thoughts drifting back to that of the endless moors briefly before she dragged herself back down to reality once more. One inquisitive glance toward Sara told her she was about to try fiddle with the handle, she was fairly curious to whether it would actually open but as she was most used to being locked up, she assumed it would not.

"It seems so," Giselle replied happily, it would mean the other woman would be forced to converse with her and she may actually make her first friend. The thought delighted her innocent mind. "Have you never been locked up before?" She asked as an afterthought, rather puzzled by this phonomena. She was sure most people must have been locked up at some point in their lives, but maybe it was only her limited interaction with others that told her so.

"No!" Giselle gasped suddenly and her bare feet jumped, springing her body upright and catapulting herself quickly in front of the door. It would've seemed rather bizarre to any onlooker, but she had been trained to spy so her movements were always fluid and quick to prevent her from been spotted. Soon after she had blocked the entrance to the doorway, she inspected Sara's shoulder and pulling on her wrist, tugged her onto the sofa.

"You need to save your energy," Giselle explained why she had pulled her away with such haste. She felt rather embarassed about it now, but she had worried for her friend. Speaking of friends, she wondered if that was actually what they were now. Could you become friends with someone after such brief moments spent together? Well, it would be nice to have a friend in this lonely place, so she decided she may aswell ask. "Can we be friends?" She tilted her head awkwardly at the woman and bit her lip in a nervous fashion, she dearly hoped so or their conversation may take an awkward or maltempered turn.

PostSubject: Re: Lost and Delerious   Lost and Delerious EmptyWed Jul 04, 2012 9:05 pm

Sara had nodded, making a mental note to call the girl Ellie, since she had been so nice to offer the nickname. From what she had noticed within her own tribe, when it came to long or complicated names they allowed nicknames and some people considered them endearing, Giselle’s name wasn’t long but the nickname did seem to hold an almost adorable ring to it that she assumed, or at least hoped that meant that they were already bonding, Sara never did have a lot of friends. She looked over her shoulder as Giselle seemed so . . . calm about being locked away and she had to admit that her calm exterior calmed her down once more. Her large green eyes stared at the girl awkwardly for a moment.

“Never in one room before. . .”

Sara had been trapped in the Temple that her father that erected in her honor when she was a small child, it held many rooms each having their own purposes but she was allowed to wander the halls and such. She felt slightly claustrophobic being locked in a single room, but if Giselle saw no reason to panic then perhaps there was no reason to.
The brunette prepared her body for another good ram at the door, hoping with the distance it would at least budge slightly in her favor, however after lunging forward she spotted Giselle and her eyes quickly shot up, throwing herself back and stumbling in shock of the petite girl appearing in front of her. She stared at her confused then trailed her eyes down to her wrist that was being held, and she silently made her way to the sofa, sitting down on it. Once Giselle explained herself Sara simply nodded, that did make sense, no point using all her energy to ram a door that might not even budge on her hardest hit. She took a deep breath to fight back her adrenaline and leaned back against the sofa, closing her eyes as she felt her heartbeat slow and her body relax. Her emerald eyes fluttered open quickly when Giselle asked if they could be friends. She sat up, jaw dropped slightly in shock. This girl, was willingly to be her friend? Her heart began to race again, but this time not from fear or adrenaline, but out of sheer happiness and excitement. She nodded once, practically beaming at the girl and placing her hand over Giselle’s in the midst of her almost childish excitement.

“I would love that G—Ellie.”

Lost and Delerious Empty
PostSubject: Re: Lost and Delerious   Lost and Delerious EmptyThu Jul 05, 2012 8:14 am

"Really?" Giselle's face filled with surprise at the revelation she hadn't been locked up in only a room before. "Cupboards are much harder to cope with," She giggled, trying to make some light of the situation. "But really, it's all just the same and for the moment, we have each other, this comfy sofa, the carpet and this interesting doll. What more would you want for the meantime?" She looked at her curiously, people wondered too much about the future and what may or may not happen, right now in this present moment, she was happy.

Giselle's face flushed as Sara placed her hand on her own and butterflies began to dance in her stomach. The giddiness of the pair at this prospect was practically comical to any common onlooker, it was easy to underesimate how much one could become so excited over such a little matter when used to a life alone. The butterflies expanded, sending shivers and tingles through her whole tiny figure as her cheeks blushed and face lit up with happy surprise. So this is what it felt like to have a friend.

"Me too!" Giselle chortled with excitement as she pulled the girl into a light hug. Once the hug was over, she smiled in a child-like manner before leaning forward once more and pressing a small kiss into the corner of Sara's cheek. She then giggled nervously and skipped happily away towards the doll.

"It's so sad, don't you think?" Giselle frowned and cradled it in her arms before allowing it to drop as she clutched it only by its left wrist whilst she moved back to Sara's side. Snuggling into her friend a little more than before and resting her head on her shoulder as she deemed socially appropriate.

PostSubject: Re: Lost and Delerious   Lost and Delerious EmptyThu Jul 05, 2012 9:58 pm

A cupboard? Sara stared at the girl for a moment, how she knew what it was like to be locked inside such a tiny space peeked her curiosity, but she didn’t feel it to be her business to ask. She felt a bit . . . dare she say, selfish once Giselle seemed perfectly content with being locked in the room with such little things, and Sara had quietly decided to stop being ‘rude’ and appreciate the sweet girl’s company.

Sara had noticed the color change of the girl’s face, although she didn’t think much of it. . . but perhaps she had overstepped her boundaries? The brunette was so use to people being afraid to touch, speak, be even close to her that it was quite possible that she got carried away and did something to make Giselle uncomfortable, which was not a good way to start their friendship. But once spotting her bright features glowing brighter, she was sure that she was forgiven if she had done wrong at all. She tensed slightly when the girl pulled her into the hug, staring at the wall blankly for a moment as she tried to register what had just happened, she hadn’t been hugged by anyone except her mother and that was a very long time ago. But this caused Sara to smile as well, Giselle’s scent was intoxicatingly soothing, Sara imagined that this is what England smelt of before she gently returned the hug, pulling away once Giselle did.

Giselle’s smile caused Sara’s to be unable to leave her own lips until she leaned forward and left the small kiss against Sara’s lightly painted pink cheeks, was this common where Giselle had come from? Sara lightly touched her cheek and was surprised when it still tingled with such a sensation that made her want to giggle and burst into smiles, but she held that back wonderfully, only a small smile parting her lips in a slight fashion. It wasn’t till after she had left her side to fetch the doll that she smiled fully now, looking down at the ground as he hair cascaded down and shielded her face. Once hearing Giselle’s voice however she brushed her fingers through her bangs and lifted her head to face the doll, twitching slightly when she saw it again.

Sara watched as Giselle cradled the doll as if it were a newborn before letting it drop slightly, tilting her head and keeping her eyes on it as if she expected it to come alive and attack her. She then looked down in a sudden surprise as she felt the weight against her shoulder, tilting her head silently at the girl but smiled and said nothing. Perhaps this wasn’t too bad after all.

Lost and Delerious Empty
PostSubject: Re: Lost and Delerious   Lost and Delerious EmptyFri Jul 06, 2012 7:55 pm

Giselle's eyelids fluttered over her sapphire eyes as she attempted to combat sleep. Sara's shoulder was proving undoubtedly comfortable and the day was exceedingly tedious with nothing else to entertain her, yet, her room-mate was certainly prooving interesting. Enough so, she forced her eyes to remain awake and alert as she jerked herself upwards quite suddenly, before facing the girl with a mischievous smile.

"If only we could think of a game to play Sara," Giselle tasted the girl's name on her tongue and paused thoughtfully. There was not much in the room to play with, except the doll and each other. As she glanced around the room more fully, she did notice something she hadn't before though. Cameras!

"Sara look!" Giselle bounced off the sofa excitedly and skipped in the direction of the camera, handing from the right-hand corner of the ceiling. Looking up at it cautiously, she tilted her head before a playful smile emerged across her face. "Do you think they can see us? Do you think they will talk to us?" She giggled and turned towards Sara in wonder, before redirecting her gaze at the camera.

"Is there anyone there?" Giselle asked, wondering if the individual behind the camera was even able to provide responses. "I was wondering... could you perhaps provide us with a game? It is becoming rather tedious down here," She suggested lightly, she didn't even mind if the game involved spying or killing, after all, those were the usual ones she played. Although... she glanced suddenly back at Sara with an affectionate smile, she just hoped she wouldn't have to face harming Sara.

Lost and Delerious Empty
PostSubject: Re: Lost and Delerious   Lost and Delerious EmptyMon Jul 09, 2012 2:41 pm

Sara sat silently as the girl leaned on her, she was sure she had fallen asleep already due to her breathing and silence, from what she knew of the girl already, Giselle talked a lot, which Sara didn’t mind at all. She sighed contently and quietly as she looked to the door, was someone ever going to come for them? Perhaps this had been a misunderstanding, they grabbed the wrong girls, they thought they were something they weren’t, that’s what Sara kept telling herself, it was a big misunderstanding and they would be released soon. Giselle’s sudden movement caused her to jump, looking over at her and raising an eyebrow to that mischievous smile.

“A game?”

She asked with a slight tilt of her head, the room wasn’t large enough for any physical activity, and that was the only type of game that she knew of, there was nothing to throw beside the doll and it already looked like it had seen better days so she chose to just let it be. She examined the room, attempting to find anything sort of interesting to be able to play with before looking over at Giselle once hearing her name being called out. Giselle had herself in a corner, staring at a black object that was unfamiliar to her, it seemed ominous whatever it was and she wasn’t nearly as excited to see it as her roommate.

Sara pushed herself up from the couch and shuffled to Giselle’s side, staring into the rounded lens with threatened eyes as if she expected the camera to jump down and attack her. She stared at Giselle as she started talking to it, looking at her as if she were a tad bit crazy for doing so before looking back at the camera. Well, she hadn’t spoken like that to the doll, so maybe this contraption did have people on the other side. She shook her head with a quiet smile, a light giggle under her breath, dropping her head and attempting to hide it. She found it sort of funny, instead of asking for help or assistance to get out, Giselle was asking for a game. Sara lifted her head and spotted the much more softer smile Giselle presented and with a flight flush of her tanned cheeks she returned it with an endearing smile of her own, something Sara’s face had long forgotten it could do.

“I don’t think anyone’s home.”

She replied in a quiet tone, a slight hint of sarcasm on her words as she rose her eyebrow at Giselle in a tease. The brunette looked back up at the video camera and shifted slightly; she tried her best not to seem worried or threatened about possibly being watched, grateful that Giselle’s optimism kept it easier for her.

“What would you do in England if you wanted to play a game?”
