Charlotte grew rather isolated in the time after the kidnapping, and though keeping her contact with Dimitri the first year, she now prefers to be on her own, except from her few friends she has gathered from work. At home she is rather depressed, and though she used to cry a lot, she has now gone over into a silent state of numbness which keeps her isolated.
She still remembers friends like Shang and Sinbad, if she could call him a friend, but do not miss them much, she is just glad that the nightmare is over, and every thought she sends them only ends up reminding her of the horrors she went through.
Enemies
Charlotte never was one to make enemies, though she does share a rather great hatred towards her first kidnapper, and the new kidnappers for doing this to her and so many other innocent people. She also still has a great deal of fear for Lilo, and her voice oft times haunts her nightmares together with other horrors from the hotel.
Acquaintances
Though the memories of what she went through is still clear in her mind, faces and names have all blurred to the back of her mind, and she no longer specifically remembers any random persons she happened to meet in the hotel.
Traumas
Being kidnapped: It was incredibly hard for Charlotte to adjust to the new world of four walls she had been brought into, and the fear and shock of the first few days is still clear in her mind as this was the first great trauma she had suffered in her life.
Eilonwy's death: She was not in any way responcible of the girl dying, but the scene of her death has re-played in her mind enough times to drive her insane. She has never before or after witnessed anything more gruesome.

Charlotte was the spoilt child to a rich man, and though she was 19 years of age she did not know a thing about how to take care of herself. She hated her life truely, not liking to pose for her father's friends or behave like a lady the way she was taught how. Her circle of friends were all snobs she didn't particularly like and her dresses were often uncomfortable.
She still stayed with her father due to pure love for him, and the fact she knew she would not be able to survive in the world alone, not knowing a thing about practical matters.
Upon meeting Dimitri she found her first real friend in him, and though he didn't particularly care for her, she didn't care. She was happy as long as he would allow her to help him and be by his side. Though she never told him this, she only felt genuinly happy when she was alone with him, not having to think of her own problems.

Charlotte was more or less spared for the worst traumas as she was fairly new to this sick game when she was kidnapped. It still managed to leave a mark on her, and apart from making her stronger, it also broke her mentally.
She was re-united with Dimitri, whom had left her without a note before, and the relief and joy of seeing her again was overshadowed by the extreme amount of pain she faced when her feelings were revealed and she was brutally rejected.
Eilonwy's death was burned into her mind as she watched the young girl die by an electric collar.
She grew a strong attraction to Sinbad, and she shamefully regrets her actions with him, and would rather pretend it never happened. She knows it was wrong to ever get involved with him, though she wonders if she would have done the same upon meeting him now.

After the first kidnapping Charlotte grew rather isolated and depressed, only keeping sane to look after Dimitri. She stayed with her father for the sake of getting him money, but she grew more and more concerned about his mental state until she yelled at him in worry. It turned into a big argument, and the following day Dimitri was gone without a note.
She knew she had driven him off and felt insanely guilty and worried, never knowing if he was ok or not.
With her father constantly nagging her and telling her how she had been wrong about Dimitri and shouldn't have trusted him a second time around, she finally broke contact with her father and moved to another state getting a job at a local restaurant. Though clumsy and clueless at first, breaking a few plates and glasses, she quickly started picking up things, eager to learn, and 4 years later she was capable of taking care of herself. Though not earning much at her work, she is afraid to quit and start over with something new she doesn't know. Her workplace feels rather safe to her now, and she's grown friends with her colleages. She enjoys her work, and that means more to her than any money recieved.
Though 4 years has passed Dimitri still crosses her mind from time to time, and she can't hide how worried she is. The worst thing to her is not knowing how he is, or if he's even still alive. She has learnt to live with it, and by pushing the thoughts away she has been thinking of him less and less the last year. However, she cannot make herself stop thinking about him.

Appearance
Charlotte has grown, and she is no longer fragile and helpless-looking. Her hands are rougher from working, and she has gained a little more fat and muscles after starting eating more than the ridiculously low amount her father would allow her earlier. No longer liking dresses, she wears a black tanktop and worn out jeans. She also still wears the scar with NS.
